The hard part of a remodel is coordination
Anyone can hang cabinets. The reason remodels go sideways is sequencing: the electrician shows up before the framing inspection, the tile lands two weeks late, nobody ordered the correct trim. We run the schedule, hold the trades to it, and tell you on Friday what is happening Monday.
Because we are the framing crew too, structural changes — opening a wall between the kitchen and living room, moving a bearing point, raising a ceiling — do not require a separate contractor or a separate markup.
What we take on
Kitchens: layout changes, cabinets, counters, tile, lighting and the electrical and plumbing rough-in behind them. Bathrooms: full gut remodels with proper waterproofing — this is where cheap work fails fastest. Basements: egress windows, framing, insulation, mechanical relocation and finished living space. Additions: foundation through finish, tied into the existing roof and exterior so it does not look bolted on.
Allowances, not surprises
Fixtures and finishes carry written allowances in the estimate. If you pick a $900 faucet instead of the $250 allowance, you see the difference before it becomes a change order argument. Every change order gets signed before we do the work.

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Missoula?
A cosmetic refresh — cabinets, counters, paint, fixtures, same layout — commonly runs $30,000 to $60,000. Moving walls, plumbing or electrical typically pushes a full kitchen into the $70,000 to $120,000 range. Your estimate breaks out every allowance so you can steer the number.
How long will my house be torn up?
A bathroom is usually three to five weeks. A kitchen is six to ten. A basement finish is four to eight. Additions run longer. You get a written schedule and a weekly update on where we actually are.
Can we live in the house during the work?
Usually yes. We dust-wall the work area, protect floors and pathways, and keep at least one bathroom functional whenever the scope allows it.
Do you handle design and drawings?
We produce the working drawings needed to build and permit, and we bring in an architect or designer when the project needs stamped plans or full design work. We will tell you which one your project actually requires.
How are change orders handled?
In writing, priced, and signed before the work happens. No verbal add-ons that show up as a surprise on the final invoice.
